Your driver will pick you up from your Arusha accommodation at 8 a.m. for a three-hour journey to Tarangire National Park. Spend the day game driving in the park, which covers 2,800 square kilometers and is home to elephants, climbing trees, pythons, and baobab trees. The park is named after the Tarangire River, a key water source for wildlife. Enjoy dinner and an overnight stay at Tarangire Safaris Lodge.
After breakfast, drive to Lake Manyara for a full day of wildlife viewing. Observe tree-climbing lions and flamingos drawn to the lake’s algae. Visit a hot spring and the Maasai boma to learn about Maasai culture. Return to Eileen’s Tree Inn for dinner and an overnight stay.
Head to the Ngorongoro Crater for a spectacular wildlife drive.
