The tour begins in Arusha Tanzania, explores the diverse Tarangire, and concludes with a visit to the stunning Ngorongoro Conservation Area, which highlights an unparalleled caldera. It is a brief but delightful journey. The wildlife in both locales is equally awe-inspiring; however, each of these environments in Tanzania’s Northern Circuit is distinctive and genuinely breathtaking.
A staff member of In Africa Link will pick you up from the Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO) to the Gran Meliá Hotel in Arusha for the night. The schedule for the remainder of the week will be provided to you at that location.
You will embark on a two-hour drive to Tarangire National Park, known as the “Elephant Playground.” Observe a variety of wildlife, including elephants, buffalo, lions, gnu, zebras, gazelles, and more. The park is famous for its acacia woodlands, baobab trees, and savannah. After a game drive and picnic lunch, head to the Ngorongoro highlands for dinner and lodging at Ngorongoro Oldeani Mountain Lodge.
Visit the magnificent Ngorongoro Crater, a haven for wildlife including lions, gnus, zebras, hyenas, black rhinos, and a myriad of other species. Begin your day with an exhilarating morning safari drive, exploring the diverse ecosystems and spotting incredible animals in their natural habitat. After an adventurous morning, enjoy a relaxing lunch amidst the stunning scenery of the crater. Following lunch, you will make your way back to Arusha, with the safari concluding at 5 PM. Please note that dinner for the last day is not included in this package. Ensure you have arrangements for your evening meal or explore the local dining options in Arusha.
